Overseerr or Jellyseerr
What it is for. The Requests screen, and any rule that fires when somebody requests something.
Cost. Free, self-hosted. Either one works; Kustos treats them the same.
Steps
- Open Overseerr (or Jellyseerr) in a browser tab.
- Go to Settings → General.
- The API Key is at the top of that page. Copy it.
- In Kustos, Connections → Seerr, paste it, check the address, and press Save.
Worth knowing. Rules that trigger on a request can only fire while Kustos can read the request feed. If Overseerr is down or crash-looping, those rules are skipped and Kustos records the problem on the rule itself rather than failing quietly. So a rule that "never fires" is often a connection problem, not a rule problem.
