What a preset actually is
Each preset lands as a normal collection in the Collections tab, editable like any other. Order, limits, Radarr/Sonarr tags and Plex labels live there, on the collection, not on the preset card.
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Link existing… | Attaches one of your own collections to this category — for a collection you renamed, or built by hand, that is really the same thing. |
| Duplicate (in the collection editor) | Creates an editable copy so you can change just what differs, instead of editing the preset's own collection. |
| Builders (on a preset-sourced collection) | Stays editable — repoint it or add sources. Re-adding the preset will not overwrite your change. |
| Delete | Removes the collection and stops it being suggested again under Add franchises. |
Back a franchise with a real TMDB collection where one exists. It files into the matching Kometa sort band and syncs like the built-ins — and, the part worth knowing, it lets the artwork scraper find collection art. A list URL cannot: there is nothing for a poster source to look up.
Multiple sources are merged and de-duplicated into one collection, so pointing a collection at three lists does not give you a title three times.
People presets
Ranked by how many of your titles they appear in, top-billed cast only. The first run warms TMDB credits and can take a few minutes; people already added are skipped on later runs.
