Wiki / Cleanup & arr rules

Write an arr rule without touching anything yet

  1. Create the rule and set its conditions.
  2. Save it.
  3. Press Preview. This is always a dry run and never writes to Radarr.
  4. Read what it says it would change.
  5. Press Apply when you are happy with that list.

Apply only runs on an enabled rule, and there is no forced review step. Preview first: it is the only way to see a rule's output before it writes to Radarr or Sonarr. A run that exceeds its max-changes cap is NOT refused — it applies the first N and leaves the rest for the next pass, so a big rule drains over several runs instead of stopping dead. Apply all N in one pass is there if you want it done at once.

Tag removal here is surgical. Unlike the *arr's own auto-tagging, a rule only ever touches the tag it names. Your collection tags and user tags are never touched.
